Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and David Byrne met at Rhode Island School of Design and formed the band The Artistics. In spring of 1974, the band recorded a demo cassette featuring tracks soon to be classics in the Talking Heads discography: “Warning Sign” and “Psycho Killer.” This collection includes this newly discovered material alongside 11 demo and live tracks recorded by the original trio lineup; bassist Tina Weymouth with Frantz and Byrne (1975-76).
