Cosmic Gypsy Sounds!
In the early 80s, the Ansambl Mileta Petrovića was formed, in the Serbian part of the former Yugoslavia. The band were pioneers and modernized gypsy music by replacing the accordion and brass with synthesizers and guitars, creating a psychedelic cocktail of traditional rhythms and spaced out sounds. This album contains some of the best tracks the band recorded between 1986-91.
