In 1969 the Velvets (with Doug Yule on bass) embarked on a nationwide tour. At the "End Of Cole Avenue" Club in Dallas is one of the Velvets' few live performances where a professional sound engineer was actually on hand to record the sets. The first-generation tapes have resurfaced, and the difference in sound quality heard here is a welcome one.
