Nine Sevens is a compilation of songs from the band Wire, recorded 1977-80 that were originally released as 7" singles. For Record Store Day those songs are compiled and released on two 12" LPs. These "sevens" signpost the band's remarkable development from their brilliantly monochromatic early phase to the textured complexity of the almost psychedelic unzipping of their sound and vision.
